How To Make a Jackie Daniels Whiskey Sour

Sometimes the greatest inventions come at the strangest of times! We discovered this delicious combo when all we had in the cupboard one night – was a bottle of Jack Daniels and decided to pair it with the Passionfruit & Vanilla mixer,and we were blown away. The sweetness of the bourbon compliments the vanilla notes of the mixer, and the fresh passionfruit rounds out the cocktail beautifully. Don’t sleep on this one, and try one for yourself!


40ml Jack Daniels Bourbon
150ml Vanilla & Passionfruit Mixer
1 egg white
Garnish of passionfruit slice


Clean, empty jam jar
Shot measure


  1. Combine whiskey, egg white and Foxglove mixer into a clean empty jam jar.
  2. Shake for 15 seconds to combine the cocktail.
  3. Add ice and shake for another 10 seconds, to chill your cocktail.
  4. Pour over fresh ice in a whiskey tumbler. 
  5. Garnish with passionfruit slice, and enjoy!

Bonus Tip

Remember to shake your cocktail with egg whites *before* you add the ice. This method, called ‘dry-shaking’ combines the ingredients, and emulsifies the egg white, giving a rich, foamy top to your cocktail.
